Is God good? we got talking about this on sunday. does he want good things for us. Some of the comments that we got were, that “God is good some of the time, he is good when he chooses to be good, and can do bad when he chooses.” This is a sort of pagan view of God, that he can be what ever he wants as the mood takes him. But the christian god that the bible talks about is defined by Love, peacemaking, justice, rightouseness…etc. Just because things in the world arnt perfect doent mean that our God isnt perfect and doesnt want great things for us his creation. God is working in this world to make into in the the place that it should be, and he is working in us to make us the people that we were created to be. Any thoughts??
